Carousel Trails is taking bookings for 2024!

I’m based in Arizona and transport equines nationwide, coast to coast and all points in between. My approach is to be flexible and minimize the time any horse needs to be on my trailer. I try to keep routes as direct as possible. If there is going to be any significant deviation, I will let you know in the booking process so you can make the right choice for you and your horse.

I offer a door-to-door service running a 4 horse LQ slant load trailer. My rig allows me to go places that some other haulers either won’t or can’t go. Horses in my care stay with me from pickup to delivery. I will be with them at the same location during overnight layovers thanks to my comfortable living quarters trailer allowing me and my passengers to get adequate rest.

Most of my trips are long hauls across country. I have a tried-and-true method that has proven to be successful transporting equines large and small on multi-day trips across country. Long trips take preparation, planning and flexibility. During the booking process I will ensure you have all of the information you need to prepare your horse and have all of the needed paperwork ready at pickup. While on the road I will keep you updated on pickup timing, progress, the health of your horse, and expected delivery timing. I do my best to avoid delays and adjust as needed to safely navigate any bad weather that I may encounter. My priority is safety. If I need to stop and let the weather get over a tantrum I will and I will let you know.

Shared routes
This is the most economical option. Your horse will share the trailer with other client horses and there will be multiple pickups and drop offs along the route. The rates associated with this option are typically referred to as “fill rates”. Exact dates may change as I plan the route and fill the trailer to keep rates down as much as I reasonably can.

Private trips
If you want to have just your horse or horses on the trailer and have some flexibility on travel dates this could be your best option. Once we have agreed on a travel date, I will honor it. The route will be direct door-to-door without the multiple pickups and drop offs associated with a shared route. This is cheaper than Charter and you get to the trailer to load up to four horses.

Charters
This is a great option for show hauling. You get the whole trailer – up to four horses and all of tack and show stuff that will fit. Pickup dates will be fixed at the time of booking and guaranteed.
